Les Passeroses is a rustic, relaxed farmhouse set in the glorious rolling countryside of southwest France. Just over an hour north of Bordeaux and just half an hour from the regional capital of Angoulême.
From the Moroccan-themed sitting room, opening to the main dining terrace, to the breakfast salon and snug sitting room, there is room to relax and unwind. The Yoga Studio provides the perfect space for calm meditation or physical practice whilst also giving you a space away from the heat of the midday sun (and a brilliant dancefloor should the mood take you). There are eight bedrooms in the main house, four doubles (three can also be twins), one triple room and three single rooms. There is also a garden lodge with a double bed and ensuite shower room.
Outside, the large unheated oval pool is surrounded by decking, grass and a tiled terrace. There are plenty of sun loungers or curl up on an outdoor sofa with a book in the shade. The gardens surrounding the house are full of fruit trees, banana palms and stands of bamboo. Mown paths cut through the wilder areas, leading to some secret spots away from it all.
Please note that the house is very rural. The nearest shops/boulangeries are 10 minutes away by car in Montmoreau or Blanzac-Porcheresse.
